Nichola Scrutton is an award-winning composer, artist, and performer, currently based in Glasgow, Scotland. Her interdisciplinary work spans various media and processes, and she produces a range of self-directed projects. Nichola is currently an In Motion composer with Sound and Music (2025). Nichola has extensive experience working in interdisciplinary, participatory collaborations, including a long-standing collaboration with writer Zoë Strachan creating live sound art/experimental radio performances. Nichola also works with Sonic Bothy in the Ensemble and across a range of workshops/projects.
