TOMORROW, TODAY WILL BE YESTERDAY

The collective Sound/Video Art Installation Tomorrow, Today will be Yesterday was conceived and curated by Rui Almeida in 2015 and includes my vocal work  At First Light.

Events

The installation has had various airings so far. In 2015, it was first installed at Noc Noc Festival, Portugal. Then  it ran at the CAAA Gallery, Portugal for two months, and the Media Arts Festival, ELO, Victoria, Canada.

Coming up

The same installation will run from 3rd – 6th November 2016 at the Limerick City Gallery of Art (LCGA). The event is part of Light Moves Festival of Screen Dance.

Women in/on Sound

The Women in Sound/Women on Sound Symposium in November 2015 marks the launch of a new network that:

“seeks to redress a growing knowledge gap concerning the impact women have in the field of sound studies, particularly within sound and music technology”.

The event will take place at Lancaster Institute for Contemporary Arts.

My piece At First Light has been selected to be part of the Symposium sound art installation.
